Pair of Framed Antique Japanese Silk Obi Panels

This Obi is of a particularly high standard.  We believe it was created by a master for an important family.  There is a tiny metal tag on each end with a crown stamped on it.  What is fascinating about this embroidery is how very contemporary the design is.  The colours are superb, the grey shimmers subtly depending on the light.

Newly framed with perspex.
